Seawalls

Holds the bank, and stays held

  • New Construction
  • Repair
  • Installation

Vinyl and steel sheet-pile seawalls driven to depth, tied back into the bank and capped — the difference between a wall that holds a shoreline for decades and one that leans out within a few seasons because nobody dealt with the load behind it.

Three Ways We Work

Seawalls — as new construction, as a repair, or as an installation on what you already have.

New Construction

Seawalls do not fail at the wall, they fail behind it. Water builds up, pressure has nowhere to go, and the wall rotates out at the top. So we drive to real embedment depth, tie back into competent ground, put filter fabric and drainage behind the sheets, and compact the backfill in lifts.

Repair

A wall that is leaning, a cap that has cracked along its length, or a sinkhole in the lawn behind it are all the same story: the tiebacks or the drainage have gone. We fix the cause — new tiebacks, drainage, grouting the voids — and then the cap, rather than the other way round.

Installation

Installing an engineered design: sheets set to line and driven to the specified depth, whalers and tiebacks fitted, drainage and filter fabric placed, backfill compacted in lifts, and the cap poured or set to finish it.

How It Works

1

Free Estimate & Site Visit

We come out, look at the shoreline, water depth and access, and talk through how you actually use the water. The estimate is free and it is based on what we saw, not a phone guess.

2

3D Design

You see the structure before it exists — layout, levels, materials and how it sits against your bank. Changes are cheap at this stage and expensive later, so this is where we make them.

3

Permitting

We handle the permits. Marine work in Central Florida can involve the county, the water management district and sometimes the Army Corps, and we deal with all of it rather than handing you a form.

4

Build & Walkthrough

Marine-grade materials, properly engineered footings and piles, and a walkthrough at the end. Anything not right, we put right before we call it finished.
