Boathouse

Covered, and sized to your boat

  • New Construction
  • Repair
  • Installation

Covered boathouses with the roof pitch, clearance and lift opening matched to the boat that is actually going under it — so you are not ducking the beam, and the cover is doing the job you paid it to do.

  • Licensed & Insured
  • 3D Design Included
  • Permitting Handled
  • Marine-Grade Materials

Three Ways We Work

Boathouse — as new construction, as a repair, or as an installation on what you already have.

New Construction

Boathouses go wrong when they are designed around a footprint instead of around a boat. We start from the vessel — height on the lift, beam, how you approach — and set clearance, opening and roof pitch from that, then engineer the frame and roof for real wind loads.

Repair

On a covered slip it is almost always the roof, a truss end, a post at the waterline, or the walkway decking. We identify which, repair or replace that element, and check the rest of the frame while access is already open rather than coming back for it.

Installation

Upgrading a boathouse you already have: new metal roofing, a hoist or lift fitted and load-tested, doors, catwalks for getting round the boat, a finished ceiling, and power and lighting run properly rather than draped.

How It Works

1

Free Estimate & Site Visit

We come out, look at the shoreline, water depth and access, and talk through how you actually use the water. The estimate is free and it is based on what we saw, not a phone guess.

2

3D Design

You see the structure before it exists — layout, levels, materials and how it sits against your bank. Changes are cheap at this stage and expensive later, so this is where we make them.

3

Permitting

We handle the permits. Marine work in Central Florida can involve the county, the water management district and sometimes the Army Corps, and we deal with all of it rather than handing you a form.

4

Build & Walkthrough

Marine-grade materials, properly engineered footings and piles, and a walkthrough at the end. Anything not right, we put right before we call it finished.
