Floating Docks

Rises and falls with the lake

  • New Construction
  • Repair
  • Installation

Poly-float dock systems that move with the water instead of fighting it — the right answer where levels swing seasonally, where the bottom is too soft to pile, or where you want the deck close to the surface for swimming and paddle craft.

Three Ways We Work

Floating Docks — as new construction, as a repair, or as an installation on what you already have.

New Construction

Floating docks earn their keep where the water moves. We size the floats for the load you will actually put on them, set the freeboard so the deck sits where you want it relative to the surface, and design the shore connection so the gangway angle stays walkable at both extremes of the level.

Repair

A floating dock that sits low, lists to one side or bangs against its piles has a specific fault, not general old age. Usually it is a float that has taken on water, a hinge that has worn oval, or anchoring that has crept. We replace or re-set that part and get it sitting level again.

Installation

We install and commission the whole system: float modules bolted up, gangway hung at the right angle, guide piles or anchors set so the dock tracks up and down without wandering, and the deck trimmed until it sits level under load rather than just empty.

How It Works

1

Free Estimate & Site Visit

We come out, look at the shoreline, water depth and access, and talk through how you actually use the water. The estimate is free and it is based on what we saw, not a phone guess.

2

3D Design

You see the structure before it exists — layout, levels, materials and how it sits against your bank. Changes are cheap at this stage and expensive later, so this is where we make them.

3

Permitting

We handle the permits. Marine work in Central Florida can involve the county, the water management district and sometimes the Army Corps, and we deal with all of it rather than handing you a form.

4

Build & Walkthrough

Marine-grade materials, properly engineered footings and piles, and a walkthrough at the end. Anything not right, we put right before we call it finished.
